Between Friday, June 26 and Thursday, July 2, 2015, the following were processed through the Lamar County jail: Dannie Banks, 43, Barnesville, DUI – alcohol, open container of alcohol in motor vehicle; Jarvis Demond Berry, 29, Griffin, violation of probation; Jason Lainer Brown, 45, Barnesville, probation violation for finger printable charge; Harris Deondry Cole, 39, Acworth, failure to appear; Donald Kendall Colson, 32, Meansville, failure to appear; Megan Cook, 28, Griffin, probation violation; Roosevelt Eric Crawley, 35, Williamson, failure to appear; Benjamin Josiah Crocker, 19, Kempner, Texas, aggravated child molestation – three counts, statutory rape; Joseph Martin Dent, 60, Culloden, serving jail time; Virge Edgeston, 33, Hinesville, speeding, marijuana – possession less than an ounce; Niquita Elaine Few, 29, Barnesville, theft by shoplifting; Berry Garner, 56, Gay, probation violation; Huntsley Kentharol Gray, 37, Thomaston, probation violation for finger printable charge; Neil Dale Green, 45, LaGrange, failure to appear; Charles Bennett Hix, 54, Griffin, criminal trespass; Avery Evan Hudson, 43, Stockbridge, DUI – alcohol, speeding; Nicholas Hale Johnson, 34, Forsyth, arrested for another agency; Kimberly Diane Leatherwood, 35, Griffin, probation violation; Charles Fredrick Monette, 51, Griffin, serving jail time; Michael Perry, 36, Brooks, warrant out of Jonesboro; Royce Robinson, 53, Williamson, public drunkenness; Jessica Dea Shellnut, 33, Hogansville, methamphetamine – possession of Schedule II controlled substance – possession of drugs not in original container – misdemeanor, possession of drug related object; James Anderson Washington, 27, Griffin, serving jail time; Charles Bernard Williams, 32, Griffin, failure to appear; Yonieca Yonae Wilson, 31, Barnesville, theft by shoplifting; Norris Jackson Zellner, 59, Barnesville, public drunkenness, theft by shoplifting, obstruction of law enforcement officers. Lamar County sheriff’s deputies answered 144 calls for service. The 911 center answered 92 calls, deputies responded to 28 of the calls, Barnesville Police officers responded to 27 calls, Lamar County firefighters responded to 21 of the calls, Barnesville firefighters responded to two of the calls and Mid-Georgia Ambulance Service responded to 65 calls. There were 10 accidents, deputies executed 11 state warrants and deputies issued 19 traffic citations.
