Lamar County sheriff’s deputies answered 148 calls for service. The 911 center answered 84 calls, deputies responded to 29 of the calls, Barnesville Police officers responded to 22 calls, Lamar County firefighters responded to 18 of the calls, Barnesville firefighters responded to five of the calls and Mid-Georgia Ambulance Service responded to 51 calls. There were six accidents, deputies executed 14 state warrants and deputies issued 18 traffic citations.
