Sheriff’s report

Between Friday, Nov. 13, and Thursday, Nov. 19, the Lamar County sheriff’s office made 18 arrests:  Sherrlyn Denise Pennyman, 39, Barnesville, arrested for Spalding County. Laura Joy Jackson, 50, Milner, probation violation. Bryan Keith Upchurch, 19, Griffin, probation violation. Rebekah Adbeel Thompson, 30, The Rock, battery. Henry Smith, 53, Blackey, Ken., driving without license, drugs in other container and felony VGCSA. Reginald Ellis Smith, 33, Barnesville, probation violation. Alfonso F. Mata, 42, Barnesville, driving without a license. Christina Ann Baker, 18, Zebulon, driving without a license. Telia Evon Eason, 19, Decatur, hindering law enforcement officer. Travis Sentell Andrews, 25, Thomaston, possession of marijuana. Jeremy Lamont Steele, 22, McDonough, arrested for Henry County. Lorenza Jones, 52, Griffin, arrested for Spalding County. James Thomas Mooty, 63, Monticello, terroristic threats and acts. Johnny Walker Jr., 34, Jackson, driving with a suspended license. Reginald Lamar Fambro, 26, Barnesville, DUI and no tag light. Joe Johnson Jr., 62, Stamping Ground, Ky., marijuana possession and weaving over roadway. Joseph Wayne Bruner, 58, St. Cloud, Fla., marijuana possession. Eric Lamount Smith, 40, Barnesville, probation violation.  Deputies answered 161 calls, responded to 24 traffic accidents, served 13 warrants and nine civil papers and/or subpoenas and issued 27 citations. Lamar County E-911 received 98 emergency calls, dispatching deputies to 30, Barnesville police to 32, county fire and rescue to 32, city fire and rescue to four and EMS to 50.
