Between Friday, August 2 and Thursday, August 8 the following were processed through the Lamar County jail: Derrick Donell Burden, 43, Barnesville, improper turn and DUI; Demarco Chevez Carter, 25, Waynesboro, theft by receiving stolen property; Crystal Edwards, 49, Pompano Beach, FL, warrants pending and driving while license suspended or revoked; Wilton Edwards, 50, McDonough, trafficking in cocaine, illegal drugs, marijuana or methamphetamine; Gregory Lamont Gillard, 44, Palmetto, failure to maintain lane, DUI and hit and run; Rashad Lamario Golden, 31, Brunswick, two counts purchase, possession, manufacture, distribution or sale of marijuana and possession of schedule I or II controlled substance with intent; Caroline Madison Grant, 22, Milner, too fast for conditions, reckless driving, two counts DUI and violation of conditions of limited driving permit; Harry Jonathan Hersey, 37, Toledo, OH, speeding and driving while unlicensed; Wayne Jerrod Jones, 57, Barnesville, probation violation; Leona Elizabeth Lewis, 41, Barnesville, serving time; Tavoris Montez Lindsey, 32, Barnesville, serving time; Emily June Moyer, 20, Barnesville, obstructing officers and simple assault; James Odoms, 47, Tampa, FL, trafficking in cocaine, illegal drugs, marijuana or meth; Jamel Keenen Perrigen, 26, Thomaston, statutory rape; Jose Ramos-Gonzalez, 35, Griffin, driving while unlicensed and hands free law; Jeffery Kevin Sheffield, 30, Statesboro, probation violation; Makayla Shayleeann Talley, 25, Barnesville, obstruction and criminal trespass; Charles Christopher Thompson, 46, Fairmont, WV, probation violation; Altravian Marquez Tywon Woolfolk, 28, Warner Robins, two counts possession of a controlled substance/marijuana and possession of firearm by a convicted felon. Lamar County Sheriff’s Deputies answered 159 calls. Lamar County Sheriff’s Deputies responded to 26 911 calls. Lamar County Fire Fighters responded to 20 911 calls. Barnesville Fire Fighters responded to 5 911 calls. Community Ambulance Service responded to 124 calls. There were 11 accidents. Lamar County Sheriff’s Deputies served 15 state warrants. Lamar County Sheriff’s Deputies issued 16 traffic citations.
