Between Friday, August 9 and Thursday, August 15 the following were processed through the Lamar County jail: Alexander Santos Aviles, 23, Jonesboro, driving while license suspended or revoked and possession of less than an ounce of marijuana; Thomas Spencer Brown, 32, Griffin, probation violation; Benjamin Conkle, 81, Milner, child molestation; Austin Anthony Dietz, 26, Barnesville, probation violation; Crystal Roberts Edwards, 49, Hampton, theft by receiving stolen property and removal of VIN number; George Randy English, 61, Griffin, failure to appear; Samuel Lee Greene, 55, Barnesville, driving while license suspended or revoked; Christopher Benard Harden, 25, Barnesville, giving false information to officers and driving while license suspended or revoked; Terry Michael Hayes, 47, Griffin, driving while license suspended or revoked; Ron Nathaniel Johnson, 31, Barnesville, parole violation; Alton Wade Lyon, 28, Griffin, probation violation; Reginald Terry Matthews, 26, Thomaston, headlight violation and driving while license suspended or revoked; Shelby Layne McGuire, 29, Barnesville, acts relating to motor vehicle odometer readings and driving while license suspended or revoked; Shelita Shuntae Mitchell, 30, Barnesville, expired tag and driving while license suspended or revoked; James Shiggs, 54, Barnesville, probation violation; Lawrence Earl Timmons, 41, Barnesville, driving while unlicensed; Christopher O’Neal Varnom, 39, Williamson, driving while license suspended or revoked and window tint violation; Jeremy Lee Wall, 25, Barnesville, driving while license suspended or revoked and speeding; Jenez Latuan Williams, 27, Barnesville, probation violation; Aaron Duvall Wyche, 33, Barnesville, driving while license suspended or revoked; Roger William Zink, 31, Conyers, serving time. Lamar County Sheriff’s Deputies answered 165 calls. Lamar County Sheriff’s Deputies responded to 24 911 calls. Lamar County Fire Fighters responded to 17 911 calls. Barnesville Fire Fighters responded to six 911 calls. Community Ambulance Service responded to 129 calls. There were 10 accidents. Lamar County Sheriff’s Deputies served 12 state warrants. Lamar County Sheriff’s Deputies issued 15 traffic citations.
