Between Friday, July 10 and Thursday, July 16 the following were processed through the Lamar County jail:Caleb James Altman, 21, Barnesville, theft by receiving stolen property;Logan Scott Calvert, 24, The Rock, wanted out of Mitchell County;Darryl Desean Frye, 28, Pensacola, FL, fugitive from justice;Timothy Arnold Jackson, 52, Thomaston, obscuring tag, failure to yield, driving while license suspended or revoked and no insurance;Brian Harvey Mangham, 33, Milner, speeding, two counts DUI and tag light violation;Douglas Dangelo McCoy, 42, Barnesville, criminal damage to property, aggravated assault and cruelty to children;Markquala Avonda Nolan, 29, Milner, reckless conduct;Phillip Luke Norman, 28, Barnesville, two counts theft by taking, burglary and criminal damage to property;Tyronza Demenic Sanders, 40, speeding, two counts obstruction of a police officer, failure to maintain lane, failure to use signal, failure to stop and reckless driving;Keith Edward Shumate, 27, Thomaston, driving while license suspended or revoked and seatbelt violation;Christopher David Smith, 45, Barnesville, theft by taking;Jeffrey Mark Taras, 58, Barnesville, fleeing or attempting to elude officers, two counts aggravated assault against an officer, driving on wrong side of road, reckless conduct, reckless driving, speeding, passing on hill or curve and obstructing officers;John David Thompson, 37, Barnesville, possession of methamphetamine and possession and use of drug related objects;Kayla Elizabeth Turner, 30, Zebulon, violation of family violence order. Community Ambulance Service responded to 143 calls. There were 10 accidents. Lamar County Sheriff’s Deputies served 10 state warrants. Lamar County Sheriff’s Deputies issued 10 traffic citations.
