Sheriff’s report

In the past week, the Lamar County sheriff’s office made the following arrests: Fredrick Lagarius Freeman, 20, Milner, child support; Dwayne Pierce Cook, 42, Griffin, bench warrant; David Blake Crews, 41, Barnesville, serving time; Ryan David Middlebrooks, 29, possession of tool for the commission of crime, second degree criminal damage to property and theft/taking; Joel Dwayne Wood, 27, Callahan, Fla., possession of less than an ounce of marijuana and weaving over roadway; Mandriez Ramon Spivey, 30, no address given, probation violation; Preston Bobby Ross, 20, Stockbridge, possession of less than an ounce of marijuana; Lakendra Camille Threatt, 21, Forsyth, reckless driving; William Roy King III, 39, Milner, no charges given; Jennrice Quntill McDowell, 34, Griffin, giving false name or information and driving while license suspended; Stecorrick Dixon, 18, Griffin, head light violation and violation of limited drive permit; William Earl Brown Jr., 19, possession, manufacturing, sale or purchase of marijuana; Krystal Ann Moyer, 37, Barnesville, child support; Charles Travis, 41, Jackson, no charges given; Carlos Alexander Ross, 29, Thomaston, probation violation; Meckeal Tywuae Penn, 20, Jonesboro, possession of alcohol underage; Deauntiquam A. Foster, 22, Riverdale, DUI alcohol and open container; Jelita-Akisha Danyale Robinson, 18, Barnesville, serving time; Janice Buchhamerr, 55, Juliette, arrested for another agency. Deputies answered 85 calls and the 911 center received 92. Deputies responded to 28 calls, the Barnesville police department to 31, Lamar County firefighters to 17, Barnesville fire department to six and Mid-Georgia Ambulance to 36. There were five accidents. Deputies issued 51 traffic tickets and served 19 warrants and 17 subpoenas and/or civil papers.
