Sheriff’s report

Between Saturday, May 1, and Friday, May 7, the Lamar County sheriff’s office made the following arrests: Martinez Chavez Little, 23, Thomaston, carrying a concealed weapon. Gordon Thomas Lewis Jr., 48. Milner, simple battery; Matthew Branden Hill, 24, Barnesville, first degree forgery; Cledis Jamal Drake, 22, Baxley, probation violation; David Blake Crews, 41, Barnesville, serving time; Isaac Montoya, 30, Jonesboro, driving without a license; Thomas Edward Wood, 33, Milner, child support; James Shawn Blevins, 39, Bonaire, theft by taking; Mitchell Herbert Campbell III 24, College Park, possession of less than an ounce of marijuana; Benny Ray Williams, 45, Barnesville, probation violation and child support; Matthew Clarence Harrell, 20, Milner, disorderly conduct and terroristic threats and acts; Jackie Wayne Martin, 32, Jackson, burglary; Omar Quisenberry, 30, Barnesville, arrested for another agency; Joel Alberto Montoya-Trejo, 26, Forest Park, driving without a license; Javier Garcia-Rodriguez, 38, Stockbridge, driving without a license; Miriam Yasmin Arreola, driving without a license; Omar Centrail Banks, possession of less than an ounce of marijuana; Chris Ray Colwell, DUI alcohol, open container and traffic misdemeanor; Donald Eugene Crawley, no license; Todd Edmond Davis, DUI alcohol; Sammie Lee Furlow Jr., possession of less than an ounce of marijuana and open container; Brian Keith Giddens, open container and disorderly conduct; Deaundry Demario Harris, open container, DUI alcohol and possession of less than an ounce of marijuana; Cody Lee Harrison, possession of less than an ounce of marijuana; John Patrick Kent, driving while license suspended or revoked; Steven Wayne Robbins, Violation of the Georgia Controlled Substances Act and other charges; Rachel Lynn Sanders, no license on person, DUI alcohol, DUI endangering the life of a child and obstruction of an officer; Lindsey Simene Selph, possession of less than an ounce of marijuana, no insurance and other charges; Larry Frank Wilburn, DUI alcohol. Lamar County sheriff deputies answered 139 calls and the 911 answered 82. Deputies responded to 36 calls, the Barnesville police department responded to 17, Lamar firefighters responded to 22 calls, the Barnesville fire department responded to one and Mid Georgia Ambulance Service responded to 35. There were 14 accidents. Deputies issued 64 traffic citations and served 18 warrants and eight subpoenas/civil papers.
