sheriff’s report

Between Saturday, Aug. 14, and Friday, Aug. 20, the Lamar County sheriff’s office made the following arrests: Antwan Damon Lyons, 25, Barnesville, no license on person and drag racing; Devarick Traymon Jones, 19, Forsyth, possession of less than an ounce of marijuana and drag racing; Jessica Paige Patrick, 30, Milner, disorderly conduct; Clinesha Jennee Florence, 18, Atlanta, disorderly conduct; Kijuante Jamarr Harris, 20, Barnesville, disorderly house or occupying a dive and possession of less than an ounce of marijuana; Kenneth Cornelius Crowder, 38, theft by taking; Mary Beth Safady, 36, Griffin, false statements or writings or concealment of facts, printing, executing or negotiating checks or drafts, deposit account fraud, first degree forgery and theft by receiving stolen property; Jose Terrones, 28, Lawrenceville, driving without a license; Matt Neal Kronk, 27, Columbus, Ohio, drugs not in original container; Louie Lee DeLoach, 26, Columbus, Ohio, violation of probation or parole; Jennrice Quntill McDowell, 34, Meansville, no charges listed; Jarrett Alexander Major, 20, Atlanta, DUI under age 21, failure to dim headlights and no seat belt. Deputies answered 149 calls and the 911 center answered 106. Deputies responded to 36 calls, the Barnesville police department to 28 calls, Lamar County firefighters to 20 the, Barnesville fire department to one and Mid Georgia Ambulance Service to 48. There were 20 accidents. Deputies issued 54 traffic citations and served 29 warrants and 10 subpoenas or civil papers.
