Between Saturday, Jan. 8, and Friday, Jan. 14, the Lamar County sheriff’s office made the following arrests:Nathan Nolan Newton, 21, Barnesville, tag light violation and DUI less safe;Guerry Elom Garrison, 18, Barnesville, consumption, purchase, furnishing or sale of alcoholic beverage to an underage person, criminal trespass and obstruction of an officer;Amber Lashea Powell, 34, Sanford, Fla., permitting a non-licensed driver to drive;Tammy Denise Davis, 34, Deland, Fla., driving while license suspended or revoked and improper lane change;Donovan Lindsey Garrod, 20, Barnesville, child support and simple assault;Anzer Lee Taylor, 60, Barnesville, terroristic threats and acts;Fernando Lazran Searcy, 32, Thomaston, probation violation;Eric Shonte Hamm, 31, Barnesville, serving time;Delron Matthew Dixon, 26, Forsyth, serving time;Emanuel Jamial Germany, 21, Macon, driving while license suspended or revoked;Margaret Rebecca Carter, 26, Knoxville, Tenn., warrants pending;Justin Ryan Meredieth, 29, Knoxville, Tenn., warrants pending;Christopher Royce Turner, 23, Zebulon, unlawful dumping and disorderly conduct;Kalvin Lashan Rollins Sr., 37, Atlanta, two counts Violation of the Georgia Controlled Substances Act;Charles Fredrick Crummie, 36, no address given, holding for Upson County;Maree Sydney Kilgore, 20, Fayetteville, failure to yield for yield sign and possession of alcoholic beverage by a person under age 21;April Joy Mitchell, 19, no address given, possession of alcoholic beverage under age 21;Charee Michele Stevens, 19, no address given, possession of alcoholic beverage under age 21;Jeffry Eliot Powers Jr., Juliette, DUI alcohol.Deputies answered 82 calls and the 911 center answered 61 calls. Deputies responded to 24 calls, the Barnesville police department responded to nine, Lamar County fire department to 15 and Mid Georgia ambulance service to 35. There were 14 accidents. Deputies issued 22  traffic citations and served 16 warrants and seven subpoenas and civil papers.
