Snow and sleet arrived in north Georgia at about 8:30 a.m. this morning. At 10 a.m., Lamar and Pike counties were just outside the area placed under a winter weather advisory by the National Weather Service. If you must travel north, be alert to the weather situation and its impact on roads and bridges.
