The Department of Defense announced on Sunday that a young soldier from Griffin, Georgia serving in Kuwait was killed in a non-combat related incident while supporting Operation Inherent Resolve.PFC. Monterrious T. Daniel, 19, died June 12 in Camp Buehring, Kuwait, in a non-combat related incident. PFC Daniel will be flown to the Upson Thomaston Airport at 1 pm Monday where a transfer will be made from a military air craft to Bentley and Sons hearse with full military honors. The processional will then travel from the airport Thomaston to Bentley and Sons Funeral Home there.PFC Daniel was assigned to 68 th Combat Sustainment Support Battalion, of the 43rd Sustainment Brigade, under the 4th Infantry Division, at Fort Carson, Colorado.Funeral Services will be held at noon Wednesday in Thomaston at the Thomaston Civic Center. Interment will be in Talbot County at New Hope Cemetery in Talbotton, Georgia.
