Saturday, Nov. 26 will be celebrated in Lamar County as Small Business Saturday and it will be ‘Spend $26 on the 26th.’ Receipts brought to the chamber office by 12 noon Dec. 1 will be entered into a drawing for a $100 gift certificate to be spent at a chamber member business. For example, if one spends $100, he or she will be entered three times into the drawing. The chamber of commerce is hosting the new ‘shop local’ program to boost profits for small businesses of Lamar County.
