By Ken K. Green Lamar County held its first football practice under new head coach Franklin Stephens Tuesday as the Trojans opened spring drills. The team will work out again today and then be off until Monday when they will resume with practices through Saturday. The spring practices will wrap up with a workout on Monday, May 21 and the annual intra-squad game Tuesday May 22. Practice times, open to the public, are today from 5-7:30 p.m., next Monday through Friday from 4:30-7:30 p.m, Saturday beginning at 8 a.m. and Monday, May 21 from 4:30-7:30 p.m. All practices as well as the intra-squad game are being held at the Trojan Field stadium.
