Southern Rivers Crews made great strides overnight in restoring power to cooperative members and, as of 8 a.m., outages were down to 800. UPDATE: Power to all homes without structural damage is near complete. SRE was down to 90 impacted jomes at 5:30 p.m. All power, except that to damaged homes, is expected to be restored by the end of the day. ”We understand everyone’s frustration and appreciate their patience. The number of broken poles and trees that have torn lines down make it a difficult and time consuming restoration process but all of our employees are working extremely hard and we are very proud of them,” spokesperson Erin Cook said.
