Stan Greene found safe

UPDATE: GREENE WAS FOUND AND IS SAFE. The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office is asking for help in locating a missing Barnesville native. William Stan Greene, 56, of west Bibb County was last seen in the Thomaston Road area on Thursday, August 23, 2012. According to family members, Greene has been suffering from depression and has not been acting like himself. After not returning home after a couple of days, the family notified the Bibb Sheriff’s Office. He is described as a white male, he is around 5 feet 11 in height, weighing approximately 190 lbs, he has blue eyes, and he has gray hair. He was last seen wearing a yellow and blue button down shirt, blue dress pants, and dress shoes. Mr. Greene should be driving a burgundy 1991 Chevrolet C1500 series truck. The license plate should display tag number ABX6745. Anyone with information is urged to contact Investigator Tania Greer at 478-621-5675.
