Star-crossed lovers meet in court

Lovers and accused killers Jennifer Clark and Kenneth Michael Yost were together in for the first time since Christmas Eve 2008 in a Butts courtroom today. That was the night they were arrested for the murder of Clark’s estranged husband, Donald. Yost testified against Clark most of Wednesday afternoon and was examined by district attorney Richard Milam. Cross-examination by defense attorney Suesan Miller was to resume at 6:30 p.m. Yost said he snuck into the Clark home early in the morning on November 19, 2008. “I had a bad feeling,” he told the jury. He said he was in the kitchen when he saw Jennifer Clark with a metal baseball bat and heard one blow to Donald Clark’s head. He said heard a gurgling sound and then heard two more blows. He admitted helping dispose of Clark’s body, car, boots, keys and cellphone. More on this story as it develops.
