Governor Sonny Perdue has announced nearly $500,000 in stimulus funds have been released for a local resurfacing project. High Falls Park Road will be paved from Hwy. 36 East to the Monroe County line at a cost of $480,457.00. Additionally, Yatesville Road will be paved from the Lamar County line to Hwy. 74 but none of that work will be done in Lamar.
