County administrator Wayne Patterson reported today that federal stimulus funds have finally found their way to Lamar County. A contract is expected to be let as early as next month for resurfacing of 4.432 miles of High Falls Park Road. The project will extend from Highway 36 East to the Monroe County line. This is the first stimulus project to be certified for Barnesville-Lamar County.
