Former Lamar County sheriff Joe Buice has been nominated for the America’s Most Wanted All-Star Award. Buice is recuperating from a gunshot wound to the face he received in the line of duty last month. Buice, now a deputy in Spalding County, was previously the target of a murder for hire plot which sent two men to prison.
