A man fled on foot after Lamar deputies stopped his car on I-75 this afternoon. The suspect was later captured on Unionville Road after an intensive search. The unidentified man lost a shoe as he fled. Assistance was called in from surrounding counties and the Georgia State Patrol. The man was taken into custody without incident. Drugs were found in the man’s car but were reportedly claimed by a female passenger. More to come on this story as it develops.
