The Barnesville police department is seeking suspects in two more armed robberies here ‘“ and one is the so-called sock robber.Wednesday, Nov. 11 at about 10:25 p.m., two men entered the Pizza Hut and robbed the manager, who was alone in the store closing. The suspects, described as black males, had a small caliber pistol. One man is about 6’ 2″ and weighed about 200 pounds. He had long dreadlocks and is 25 to 35 years old. The other was about 5’6″ and about 150 pounds; he stayed by the door as a lookout. A burgundy or maroon van seen in the parking lot earlier was described as suspicious.Monday, Nov. 16, at about 9:42 p.m. a lone black male, also described as 6’2″ and 200 pounds, robbed the Red Apple clerk, acting as if he had a small pistol. He was dressed all in black, with some type of design on his jeans, and had socks over his hands. His face was covered by a hood or stocking. If anyone notices a suspicious person or persons in the area, contact the police department.
