Tammy Lynne Parker was born September 2nd, 1964, at Grady Memorial Hospital in Atlanta, Georgia. She departed this earthly life on August 25, 2026, just days shy of her 62nd birthday.
She retired from Yum! Brands and enjoyed shopping, playing cards, and spending time with her grandchildren, who affectionately called her “Nana”.
In keeping with the faith she held so dearly, Tammy was welcomed at the gates of Heaven by her father, Harold Messer, and her brother, Ricky Messer.
She is survived by her husband of 46 years, Grady Parker Jr.; her mother, Diane (Larry); her six children, Stephanie (Steve), Jessica (Larry), Erica (Kamau), Emery, Leon, and Shelby; and her thirteen beloved grandchildren; Xavier, Taylor (Myles), Cidnie, Jordan, Jessiah, Madison, Raegan, Skye, Joshua, Emery Jr, Journey, Alaiá, and Phoenix.
Her faith, laughter, love, and kindness will live on in the memories of those who knew and loved her. She will be truly and deeply missed.
