The rounds of board of equalization hearings are over and the results look dim for the county and school board coffers. Another $3.2 million has been trimmed from the 2011 tax digest ‘“ over and above the $11 million drop in the first digest sent to the state. In the long run, that will only cost the county about $12,000 in tax revenue but the digest is expected to keep going down.
