The best ever…

Perfect weather, mouth-watering barbecue and great music brought record setting crowds to Barnesville Saturday for BBQ & Blues 2012. It was the perfect storm for partying – and boosting the local economy. There were no incidents other than a blown transformer during the music Saturday afternoon but even that only stopped the show for a minute or so. ”This is great. Embrace this. Enjoy this,” noted Alan Walden, former road manager for Otis Redding, co-founder of Capricorn Records and the man who discovered Lynyrd Skynyrd.
