Third arrest made in Subway robbery

A third suspect has been arrested in connection with the Jan. 15 armed robbery of the Subway restaurant on College Drive. Barnesville police investigator Al Moltrum reported Eugene Worthy of 245 Atlanta St. has been charged with armed robbery and burglary in connection with the case. Moltrum has called the incident an inside job. He suspected as much when the “victim” in the case was caught smiling at a security camera while a rifle was held to her head. The other suspects arrested were Melissa Walton, 19, and Anthony Parson, 21. From the 2.17.09 print edition of The Herald-Gazette.
