Third suspect sought in Woodbury bank robbery

The FBI Atlanta Field Office continues its search for a third suspect wanted in connection with the June armed robbery of United Bank’s Woodbury branch. The bureau released new photos and video of the wanted suspect on Friday. Three suspects — two armed with handguns and the third armed with an AR-15 rifle — entered the Woodbury bank around noon June 28, forcing employees to the ground at gunpoint and stealing an undisclosed amount of cash, according to information released by the Atlanta FBI office. The FBI described the robbery as a “violent takeover-style bank robbery.” Two of the suspects, Derrick R. Scott and Antavious Bray, were taken into custody hours after the robbery. The third unidentified suspect is believed to have been in the bank when the robbery took place. The FBI is hoping someone can identify the third suspect pictured in the photo. There is also the possibility of a fourth suspect who may have been driving the getaway car, which is described as a 2007 black Chevrolet Impala SS. Most of the money taken during the robbery has been recovered. United Bank is offering a reward of up to $10,000 for information that leads to the arrest and conviction of those suspects, according to the FBI. Anyone with information regarding the identity of the wanted suspects is asked to call Crime Stoppers Atlanta at 404-577-8477.
