The LCHS volleyball team got an at-large bid to the Class AA state tournament. They compete in the Sweet 16 Oct. 21 at Coosa High at 5:30 p.m. The LCHS softball team goes to Swainsboro for a three-game series. A doubleheader is on tap Wednesday beginning at 4 p.m. The third game, if needed, will be played Thursday. The LCMS softball team enters the postseason as a #2 seed. They host Rehobeth Road at Aldora Field Thursday at 5:30 p.m.
