Mrs. Tommie Lee Bunn McKinley, age 74, of Barnesville, passed away on Sunday, Dec. 1, 2013 in a Lamar County healthcare facility. Mrs. McKinley was born Oct. 28, 1939 to the late Mr. Thomas Drewy Bunn and the late Mrs. Gladys Buice Bunn. She is also preceded in death by a daughter, Karen Anglin; a sister, Mary Dawson; and her grandson, Matt Wood. She worked at Aldora Mills as a re-spooler. Survivors include her two sons, Bobby (and Deanna) Wood of Yatesville and Josh (and Nichol) McKinley of Thomaston; two sisters, Lorene Akins of Griffin and Betty B. (and Julian) Wright of Barnesville; eight grandchildren, Tabitha Barnes, Amy Anderson, Andy Whitehurst, Scott Wood, Eugene Wood, Alana Wood, T.J. Wood and Zoie Fowler; four great-grandchildren, Jacob Daniel, Jennifer Anderson, D.J. Anderson and Eva Peppers. Funeral services for Mrs. Tommie McKinley will be conducted Wednesday, Dec. 4, 2013 at 2 p.m. in the chapel of Williams Funeral Home with the Rev. Walter Stafford and the Rev. Clarence Cravey officiating. Interment will follow in Lamar Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, Dec. 3, 2013 from 6 to 8 p.m. at Williams Funeral Home.
