Tommy’s Eat & Play raided again

After numerous complaints from citizens regarding illegal alcohol and drug sales, a multi-agency raid was conducted at Tommy’s Eat & Play on Matthews Street in Barnesville Jan. 26. ************** ©The Herald-Gazette/barnesville.com: This information may not be reprinted, broadcast or distributed electronically in any form or fashion without express consent. For reprint permission, e-mail news@barnesville.com. ************** Prior to the raid, an undercover drug buy was made at the establishment. Proprietor Tommy Lee Davis, 52, of 814 Gordon Road was charged with permitting another to violate state law. Johnny Lamont Caslin, 27, of 225 Jackson Street was arrested one one count of possession of marijuana. Calvin Jerome Wilkerson, 23, of 183 Mill Street was charged with sale of marijuana and obstruction of an officer. ”We would like to thank those concerned citizens who called us regarding this establishment and we encourage others to do so in the future,” Major Brad White of the Lamar County sheriff’s office said. The club had been previously raided in 2010. The raid was conducted by personnel from the sheriff’s office, Barnesville Police Department and the Narcotics Task Force.
