A Barnesville church destroyed by the April 28, 2010 killer tornado here is rebuilding.The new Rehoboth Deliverance Church of God in Christ on Veterans Parkway is rising from the rubble of last year’s tornado.PAR Church Builders Inc. of Macon is working on the block-and-brick structure expected to cost about $100,000. Rick Burgess of PAR says the firm is a family-owned operation that considers its work ‘a ministry’ and tries to bring in construction costs according to the congregation’s budget. Pastor Bettie Ann Pace and Pastor Phyllis Pace say the first service in the risen church will probably be held in late May or early June.
