Two tractor-trailer rigs collided at the intersection of Gordon Road and MLK Parkway in Barnesville about 10 a.m. Monday. Initial reports indicated a rig carrying large pipes and fittings for the sewer plant expansion near the crash scene was traveling east on Gordon when the driver ran the stop sign and was struck by another big rig carrying a load of wood chips. One driver reported a leg injury that was not thought to be serious. Fire personnel were on the scene to deal with a diesel fuel spill.
