The LC soccer teams begin regular season action tonight as the annual Trojan Cup tournament kicks off. Matches will be played at Trojan Field and the nearby LCMS field. The Trojans and Lady Trojans battle ELCA tonight. Wins would propel them into round two. The Lady Trojans would play the winner of the Northside-Rutland match at 4 p.m. Saturday. The Trojans would also play the Northside-Rutland winer at 2 p.m. Valentine’s Day. The title games are at 2 p.m. and 4 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 21. Other teams in the tournament are Harris County, Upson-Lee, Westside and Pike County. UPDATE: The Lamar boys defeated ELCA Monday night 4-0. The LC girls beat ELCA 4-1.
