UPDATE: Both the Trojans and Lady Trojans are in the the third place games. The Lady Trojans face Trinity Christian Saturday at 1 p.m. at the high school field. The Trojans battle Houston County at the same time but at Trojan Field.
Hampton has forfeited all its games for the Trojan Cup soccer tournament which will finish up this week.
Both the Trojans and Lady Trojans are still alive with records of 1-1. Their wins came only by Hampton forfeits, however.
On Monday night, the Lady Trojans lost to Harris County 3-1 after going down 2-0 early to the AAAAA school. The Trojans lost to Harris County 1-0 after overtime and two sets of penalty kicks.
The Pike Lady Pirates have been eliminated after losing to Trinity Christian 2-0 and Houston County 5-1. The Pirates, however, are 2-0 in tourney play after beating Trinity Christian 5-0 and Houston County 3-2.
Houston County has only played Pike so their girls are 0-1 while the boys are 1-0.
Houston County and Trinity Christian face off today at Trojan Field. Girls action begins at 5:30 p.m.
Saturday morning’s Harris County-Hampton match-ups have been forfeited by Hampton.
Jamboree
Today’s planned jamboree featuring the LCMS boys and girls and the varsity girls has been canceled.
