Due to an expected overflow crowd at Trojan Field, Lamar County Schools Athletic/Activities Director Calvin Scandrett is asking late arriving local fans to Friday’s game between Lamar County and Monticello to be prepared to be directed to sit on the visitor’s side of the stadium. It is Senior Night and all senior fall participants in sports, cheerleading and band and their parents will be recognized before the game. The team will be presented with the 2011 Region 4-AA championship trophy and other special activities are planned for the final game of the regular season.
