The top-ranked Trojans closed out regular season play Friday night with a 53-0 rout of Crawford County in Roberta. Lamar finished undefeated at 10-0.Lamar has not lost a regular season game since Oct. 29, 2009. They are 22-1-1 since head coach Franklin Stephens took the helm prior to the 2012 season.The Trojans open postseason play Friday night when they host the Metter Tigers (7-3) Kickoff is set for 7:30 p.m. at Trojan Field.The Tigers, under coach Mike West, are the fourth seed from Region 2-AA after finishing behind Benedictine, Vidalia and Bryan County. They lost to those three teams by a combined score of 124-47.The Trojans are red hot, having scored a school record 450 points over the 10-game regular season.
