The Lamar County Trojans open Region 4AA tournament play tonight at 8:30 p.m. against Monticello. The tournament is being played at Northeast High School in Macon. Gregory Freeman’s Trojans (22-3) are the tourney’s #2 seed and have won 10 in a row. They beat Monticello 64-53 and 75-41 during the regular season.
