Lawrence Austin was stopped just short of the goal line on a mandatory two-point PAT attempt in the fourth overtime and the Lamar County Trojans dropped a heartbreaking 35-33 decision to the Appling County Pirates at Trojan Field. After the game, head coach Jason Strickland told his team he had never been prouder of them. “Nothing I can say will make this feel any better,” he said.
