Both the LC basketball teams have advanced to round two of the Region 3AA basketball tournament being played a various venues.
On Monday night, the Trojans topped Bleckley County 57-50 in a game played at Monticello. They were to play Monticello Tuesday at 8:30 p.m. at Washington County.
On Tuesday afternoon, the Lady Trojans blasted Bleckley 66-48 at WACO. They play top-seeded NE Macon Friday night in Macon.
