By Ken K. Green The Lamar County High School baseball team will play their home opener Friday when they host Rutland at 6 p.m. at Aldora Field as part of Diamond Day Weekend. The Trojans will also play Westside Macon Saturday at four o’clock. Other games Saturday at Aldora Field will include Rutland vs. Central Carrollton at 11 a.m. and Central Carrollton vs. Westside Macon at 1:30 p.m. The Diamond Trojans opened the 2012 season Tuesday beating Georgia Military 1-0 in Millledgeville.
