The Lamar County Trojans got two interceptions and a touchdown catch from Devin Couch as they routed the Spencer Green Wave 36-0 Friday night in Columbus Couch returned his first interception 63-yards to set up Lamar’s first score. His second pick killed a Spencer drive. His touchdown catch came on a 13-yard strike from quarterback Mike Bloodser who also had a 25-yard scoring strike to Robert Blount. Bloodser, who also had a rushing touchdown, injured a knee late in the game but did not appear to be seriously hurt. Lamar iced the game when Antoine Wallace fell on a fumble by a Spencer punt returner in the endzone. Lamar hosts Macon County next week at Trojan Field. The Bulldogs are 2-1 after whipping Jordan 19-6 Friday night. Kickoff is set for 7:30 p.m.
