Tonight is the night for the second annual Soap Game. Kickoff is set for 7 p.m. at Trojan Field. The ninth graders will scrimmage the middle school team to start the show. When they are done, the varsity will scrimmage. Fans are asked to bring laundry detergent, bleach or recordable DVDs in lieu of an admission charge to help with the team’s laundry and film budgets. It promises to be a great night under the lights. ’The kids have put in a lot of sweat and effort this summer and are excited about scrimmaging again. Hopefully they will get to play in front of a huge crowd,’ Strickland concluded.
