Troop 38 lauded during Court of Honor

Boy Scout Troop 38 had a Court of Honor Aug. 18. Scouts were honored with awards, most of which were earned at summer camp at Camp Thunder. They include Juan Canchola, second class, citizenship in the world and first aid; Kyson Cook, Scout, tenderfoot, second class, first aid and citizenship in the world; Tyler Hammock, Scout, tenderfoot, second class, first aid and citizenship in the world; Ben Hofer, second class, citizenship in the world, first aid and swimming; Tripp Larkey, Scout, tenderfoot, second class, first aid and citizenship in the world; Mathew Ledford, Scout, tenderfoot, second class, first aid and citizenship in the world; Christian Mahone, second class, swimming, first aid and citizenship in the world; Keyan Mahone, personnel management, personal fitness, citizenship in the community, communications, rowing, archery, electricity and Indian lore; Gabe Parker, Scout, tenderfoot, second class, first aid and citizenship in the world; Elijah Richardson Parks, second class, first aid and citizenship in the world; Mason Thorne, Scout; Noah Thorne, Scout; Brad Tinsley, second class, first class, swimming, first aid and environmental science. Troop 38, chartered in 1946, meets every Thursday from 6:30-8 p.m. It has been meeting in Aldora Park for 65 years. Sponsors include Hamrick’s Sporting Goods, VFW Post 6542, and Aldora.
