Two busted for meth

A probation violation investigation resulted in two arrests for possession of methamphetamine with intent to distribute here March 5. Lamar deputies and Narcotics Task Force personnel went to a home at 177 Rogers Circle to pick up Andy Darrell Flournoy, 39, on Pike County warrants. Probable cause to search was found and Flournoy subsequently gave consent to search. Officers found and seized three grams of meth, a meth pipe and $752 in cash. Also arrested was 37-year-old Jonathon Williams of 173 Rogers Circle. Williams gave consent to search his belongings and another five ounces of meth were found along with 12 marijuana joints, a .22 caliber rifle and a shotgun. Flournoy was returned to Pike County. Williams now resides at the Lamar County jail.
