Two charged after child tasered

By Walter Geiger A Barnesville man who was the subject of a manhunt in Lamar, Pike and Spalding counties for allegedly using a taser on a five-year-old boy has been arrested. A woman, thought to be the mother of the child, was also jailed. Warren Anthony (Tony) Prince, 34, of 169 Kennedy Rd., Griffin was picked up by Spalding authorities and transferred to the Lamar jail Nov. 2. He is charged with cruelty to children. A woman, Lynn Marie Pyle, 28, of 1386 North Spring Chase Dr. in Barnesville had been arrested in connection with the same case on Oct. 31. She was also charged with cruelty to children. Details are sketchy but the incident apparently happened at an apartment complex near Reliable Mart off Hwy. 41 here. The boy, who is recovering, also had bruises on the bottoms of his feet where he had allegedly been beaten, sources said.
