An unidentified female employee of Walgreens was seriously injured Feb. 19 when she pulled out in front of another vehicle at the high-dangerous intersection of highways 18 & 341 in Barnesville at about 2:45 p.m. The woman was slipping in and out of consciousness at the scene and was transported via ambulance to an area hospital. The male driver of the truck the woman struck suffered lesser injuries but was also taken to the hospital. More details will be forthcoming when they are available.
