The Lamar County commission’s vote January 13 to cut back its regular meeting schedule to one meeting per month is expected to draw fire from two citizens January 27. Citizens Gwen Moore and Brenda Ross are on the agenda for the 7 p.m. meeting to question the decision. Also on the agenda is a public hearing with regard to rezoning sought by Lorie Mangham for Deer Trail Country Club. Otherwise, the agenda contains only routine matters.
