Four star recruit Justin Robinson, who committed to the University of Georgia over the weekend, has multiple Lamar County connections. Robinson is a 6-4, 210 pound wide receiver his coach compares to former NFL star Calvin Johnson. Robinson was a key cog in a state championship team at Eagles Landing Christian Academy last season. He will be a senior this fall. He committed to UGA, head coach Kirby Smart and wide receivers coach Cortez Hankton along with four star quarterback Carson Beck of Florida. Robinson is the son of Quay and Tessie Robinson. Tessie is a Lamar native and LCHS graduate. His grandmother, Janet ‘˜Peggy’ Hughes, lives here.
