United Bank at Griffin Ingles robbed

The United Bank branch at the Ingles Market located at the intersection of highways 19 & 41 in Griffin was robbed late Tuesday. From Capt. Tony Ranieri of the Spalding S.O.: The Spalding County Sheriff’s Department is seeking the help of the public, in identifying the person who robbed the United Bank Ingels Branch located on Zebulon Road. According to Sheriff Stewart around 6:30 p.m. Tuesday evening a lone gunman entered the bank gave the teller a note and left the bank with an undisclosed amount of money. The suspect is described as a white male approx 6′ feet tall, slender build, between 40 and 50 years old, black and gray hair short, silver wire rim glasses, last seen wearing a dark grey shirt and blue jeans. Anyone with information pertaining to the identity of the suspect shown is asked to call CRIME STOPPERS ATLANTA @ 404-577-TIPS (8477) give an anonymous tip a reward is being offered. Stewart also stated that you can contact Investigator Paige Holmes or dial 911.
