Upson deputies extradite alleged Yatesville burglar

Upson deputies travelled to Florida to bring to justice a man suspected of three burglaries – two of them in the Yatesville area. From Upson sheriff Dan Kilgore: On Thursday, February 13, 2014 deputies from the Upson County Sheriff’s Office travelled to Sanford Florida to extradite Cornelius Holt back to Georgia. Holt fled to Florida after committing three counts of Burglary in Upson County. Holt, 25, had previously been living at 294 Pine Grove Road in Yatesville prior to leaving for Florida. Holt is charged with one Burglary at a shop building on Dallas Drive in Thomaston that occurred on January 2, 2014; one Burglary that occurred at a building on Barnesville-Yatesville Rd in Yatesville on January 10, 2014; and another Burglary that occurred at a residence on Chase Street in Yatesville on January 13, 2014. Holt remains in the Upson County Jail pending a $50,000 bond.
